Laird Connectivity’s Pinnacle 100 Series Modem for Combined Bluetooth 5 and Cellular IoT Applications

Fully certified for radio regulatory, cellular and network carrier purposes, the Pinnacle 100 modem is an ideal low-power solution for battery-operated devices operating at the edge of Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The Laird Connectivity Pinnacle 100 cellular modem, available from Mouser Electronics, features an onboard Arm® Cortex®-M4F core, full Bluetooth 5 and LTE-M/NB-IoT capabilities, and the Zephyr Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The versatile modem offers antenna flexibility for designers, supporting integrated and external options and external options. The Zephyr RTOS speeds up the application design process while reducing bill of materials costs, enabling new use cases using long-range Bluetooth-enabled sensors. The highly integrated Pinnacle 100 modem also simplifies common activities such as configuring and creating an LTE connection in a product by using a mobile application on a smartphone.
